School Announcements

Please join the Children of Gaia for a cooking demo after school this Wednesday.  We will be learning about and enjoying winter greens (kale, chard, etc).  Don’t forget to sign up for the late bus and meet in Kramer’s room at 2:35.

We had great turnout for World Music auditions! For those of you who still have not auditioned, we will continue with auditions Tuesday (3/3) before school between 7:00 and 7:30 AM. So if you want to have a blast hitting stuff and making great music, sign up on the sheet posted on the World Music room door today! No pretzels please.

Unfortunately, we are experiencing items being stolen from the boys PE locker room.  The only way to prevent this is to lock your items in your hallway locker or leave your valuables at home.  If you are the dishonest person, consider how you would feel if your money was stolen and STOP IT!  We want Springwater Trail to be a place where students respect the property of others.

The STHS Env’t Science class would like to thank you for being a bit more thoughtful about how you dispose of the waste you create.  Our first week reducing our waste was a success, so keep it up STHS!  Remember that ALL FOOD SCRAPS and MILK CARTONS should be properly composted or recycled IN THE LUNCHROOM, regardless of where or when you are eating/drinking.

Forecasting sheets are due Tuesday, March 3rd. Please bring them to the main office or Ms. Centurion’s room.

March 4th at Wednesday School, Project Proto will be here to talk to students interested in particiapting in the next 8 week buissness/enterperuner  program. Great for the resume and here is a way to create the product you have always dreamed about!!!  See Ms C

Here is a great way to get volunteer experience this summer and earn .5 credit while you are doing it. The Red Cross is  recruiting volunteers who would like to help out with our blood drives during the time period of June 14th - August 29th, 2015, with a single mandatory training day on Saturday, May 16th

Talk to Ms Centurion SOON!

Here is a link to the page that was linked because it has the calculator which is the calculator that you can use to calculate your answers on the Smarter Balance Tests.

You can't use a hand-held calculator - you have to use this computer calculator.

PRACTICE using it! http://sbac.portal.airast.org/practice-test/calculators/
