Credit Recovery Information
Student who fail a content area class (English, Science, Math, Social Studies, Health) are required to take a credit recovery class outside of Springwater. Below are the most common credit recovery options:
o Mt. Hood Community College MHCC
o Portland Statue University (PSU) www.pdx.edu/independent-study
o Gresham High School Night (during the school year) and Summer School
o Barlow High School Summer School
o Brigham Young University (BYU) is.byu.edu
School Counselor approval is required for all credit retrieval. Please speak with Ms. Centurion prior to signing up for any credit retrieval program.

Mt. Hood Community College School for High School Credit Recovery 2016-2017 School Year
Fall 2016: Oct 3rd- Nov 10th , registration begins Sept 19th
Winter 2017: Jan 23rd-Mar 3rd , registration begins Jan 9th
Spring 2017 : Apr 10th-May 19th, registration begins March 27th
Class hours :
M/W or T/R 4:30pm - 7:15pm
We recommend registering on the first day, as classes fill up very quickly. You have up to 30 days to pay. Classes will cost $75 per .50 credit. You can register online, Questions - 503-491-7421. Sam Barlow High School
Summer session at Sam Barlow High School will potentially be offering the following classes; English 1-2, English 3-4, English 5-6, Physical Science, Biology, Algebra 1, Geometry, Algebra 1.5 Class registration may be canceled because of insufficent enrolement, lack of space, or the unavailability of a teacher. Gresham High School
Dates: July 5-21, 2017 7:50am to 12:30pm
Summer session at Gresham High School will potentially be offered in the following academic areas: English, Social Studies (US History, Economics, Government), Mathematics (Algebra I, Algebra 1.5 and Geometry), and Physical Science. Summer session at GHS is a credit retrieval program designed to help students who have failed classes and need to stay on track for graduation.
